A week after Jason Akermanis accused Nathan Banks of cyber squatting, Banks has angrily come out and made a statement.

“I don’t know why I’ve been targeted, to be honest I’ve been working tirelessly over the years to improve his image.

“Just last week someone emailed me thinking I was Jason Akermanis and checked to see if I had changed my views about whether or not gay people should stay in the closet.

“I quickly fired back an email stating that I had reversed my views and deeply regret them and we should welcome all people into any work place regardless of their sexual preference.

“Lately I’ve been trying to patch things up between him and Leigh Mathews, but lets be honest he’s really dug himself into a hole in that one.

“Instead I’ve been telling all those die hard Fitzroy fans that new logo they have no looks great.”

When asked whether or not he has been trying to repair any relationships at the Western Bulldogs Banks was a little more coy. 

“Well I don’t think I should stick my nose in that one yet, he’s yet to shut his mouth about that yet. Maybe once he stops banging on about how every facet of the Doggies is stuffed and that Rodney Eade once stabbed a pen into Paul William’s leg in round 15 of 2009

When asked if he was doing this for monetary gain as his website does sell Jason Akermanis memorabilia Mr Banks was upfront about his true motivations.

“Of course I’m doing this for monetary gain, I’m only doing all this to make him look better because the merchandise isn’t shifting.

“Nobody wants to buy the signed jumper of a dickhead.
